DetailsAmcal Antifungal Cream is a broad spectrum white water soluble cream that relieves the itching, redness and cracking of athlete's foot and other tinea or Candida infections of the skin.
IndicationsTreatment of tinea and candida infections of the skin. Recommended for: tinea (athlete's foot), jock itch, ringworm and is suitable for the treatment of external vaginal thrush.
IngredientsActive ingredients: Clotrimazole 10mg/g, a topical broad-spectrum anti-fungal. Other ingredients include Benzyl Alcohol 10mg/g as a preservative.
DirectionsWash the affected area and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of cream to affected area and rub in gently. Repeat twice a day or as often as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Continue treatment for two weeks after symptoms disappear to avoid possible recurrence. If the tinea has not improved, especially if the symptoms are of long duration (several weeks), the patient should be referred to a doctor for further investigation.
WarningsDo not use if sensitive to Clotrimazole or any other ingredient of the cream. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. Not all strains of a particular organism may be susceptible to Clotrimazole. Avoid prolonged use. Avoid eye contact. Patients with diabetes are more likely to have tinea and other feet problems.
Safe for use in pregnancy, caution should be exercised when breast-feeding.
